What a Pair Team advocate does
In Manhattan, a call to us often starts with an HRA letter and a question about which office to go to. Here's what we do:
- Apply for Medicaid and the Medicare Savings Program with you on Access HRA, then follow up with the Chrystie Street or Dyckman office.
- Find the case management agency for your block, and get meals at home started.
- Get your HEAP form in when it opens, and check that the Con Edison credit shows up.
- Book a HIICAP visit at 2 Lafayette Street or the library on Fifth Avenue.
An advocate is covered by Medicare if you qualify. It takes two minutes to find out.
